GIVE LIGHT FOUNDATION
Give Light Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian relief organization, established in Sunnyvale, California, USA in January 2005 by a group of young professionals. The foundation seeks to create durable orphanages and provide orphan care in response to natural disasters and extreme conditions, like poverty and war.
Since its inception, Give Light
has been able to operate primarily using volunteer talents in the US to generate awareness and funds for our global projects. Inspired by Islamic values we strive to help orphans across the globe regardless of nationality, race or religion.
ABOUT US
Our Vision
A vision to rebuild a future emerged just a few weeks after the December 26, 2004 Asia Tsunami. Our first orphanage in Aceh, Indonesia became a reality only a year later and we’ve been expanding ever since. Read more about how we began and our journey so far.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build and sustain beautiful homes and provide our children with long term, high quality education. We strive to recreate a loving family, a sense of belonging and strong identity/self-esteem. We do this by making sure our staff on the ground has the highest moral standard and share our love and passion for the cause. We have family/relatives close to each home who go to visit often and unannounced. We also send volunteers from the US to stay at our homes and teach them different skills.

SYRIAN CHILDREN IN JORDAN
In partnership with GiveLight Foundation
After seeing atrocities committed to millions of innocent Syrian children, we knew we had to act fast and find a way to help. We started our work with Syrian orphans and refugees by visiting and providing them with over 17,500 blankets of love in Istanbul, Turkey. We are now sponsoring education for over 100 Syrian orphans and refugees in Istanbul! Still, our longing to do more has led us to yet another opportunity to help Syrian children – this time in Amman, Jordan.
Why contribute through GIFT USA?
- Gift USA works with the respective partner to identify the specific project and raises money via gracious donors like yourself. We monitor and ensure project completion and share the outcome of the completed project with our donor.
- We are a 501c-3 organization so your donations are tax exempted.
- More than 95% of your donation for the specific project is directed towards the project completion
